The Aslan Foundation has a simple micro grant application process for awards of $3,000. Emerging nonprofit organizations, as well as those that are new to the Foundation’s grantmaking process, are encouraged to apply for this funding.

US 501(c)(3) organizations serving the greater Knoxville area are eligible to apply. Organizations are not eligible to apply for a micro grant in the same calendar year that the organization was awarded invitation-only grant funding.

Applications open on October 30th and close on November 30th each year. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on November 30th. Please click here to apply for a micro grant during the open application period.

The Aslan Foundation has an invitation-only grant application process from June 30th through July 30th each year. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on July 30th. If your organization is a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization serving the greater Knoxville area and you would like to be considered for an invitation to this grant application process, please email a single page letter of inquiry to grants@aslanfoundation.org no later than April 30th. The staff will send out invitations to apply by June 1st each year.
